First impressions are what count! Apple are definatly masters of presentation and between last weeks IFA event and the news of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Gear S VR headset Apple Tim Cook and co provided a seamless scripted presentation which to me, personally leaves a deeper impression then anything I saw last week! Who would want to wear and stick a radiating VR Headset to the forehead? Putting this aside I don’t know why everyone else lets Apple get away being the crowning innovators with the Midas touch! Once again and this time fashionably late to the scene the ‘Apple Watch’ their most personal device ever crafted has yet to even arrive! Will you be one of the first people you know to wrap it round your wrist? Due to be released early 2015 the Apple Watch will natrually lock its users into Apple’s ecosystem and work seamlessly with the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s and the newly arrived iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will all be wedded to the new wrist wearable device! I have to admit I use the Sony Xperia Z2 and I love it yet I will have a pang of jealousy towards anyone I see with the new Apple Watch working in unison and continuity with an iPhone! Taking and making calls, viewing pics, messaging, doodling and tapping away! So far the only negative report is that it needs charging every night, but with so much to say good about it that can be forgiven, an just maybe the battery lenghth will be tweaked or improvised? Why is the watch such a powerful piece? Watches are heirlooms (Quentin Tarantino arguably made a film about a watch did he not?) I remember and still have my first titainium citizen solar powered watch my farther gave me for my eighteenth, watches are a rite of passage they are not something brought willy nilly a watch is personel, wheather it is a gift (Which many of them are) or something you have treated yourself too, you wear it on your wrist and its with you everyday just like a mobile phone! To be honest we haven’t really needed watches for some time since the smartphone intervention, I’m a millennial and nearly everyone I know dosesn’t have a watch yet; how about you? I would have to say one of the main things about the amply named ‘Apple Watch’ which impressed me the most and by the looks of it everyone else is the ‘Digital Crown’ the innovation and reinvention of the the crown piece on a traditional watch! (Thats the little cog you turn manually which usually sets the hands of the time and the date!) Apple wagged their finger and logically assumed that a small smart touch watch-face didn’t provide enough surface area for sensible touch-screen browsing, although this doesn’t mean you can’t browse with your fingertip! Now the little cog acts as the Home button and as the zoom in and out button. Thats the reinvention of the traditional consumer watch and the innovation of the smart watch in one stroke! This is why Apple rock! The competition are scratching their heads thinking “Why didn’t we think of that?” And that’s not all their thinking! Apple took a whole new approach to solving how to type and communicate on such a small screen. This is why I admire Apple, founded not just on the legend of Steve Jobs their products and marketing is absolutely flawless and they always seem to get it right first time! Think tanks were paid to come up with ways of comunicating with a querty keyboard on the lenghth and width of a watch face; it seems self evident none of them took the project as seriously and emphasised personally as Apple! Comunication is going to change forever with the Apple Watch instead of typing you can just doodle a message with ‘Digital Touch’ this was announced and demonstarted yesterday on stage by Kevin Lynch practically doodling, replying and sending the image of a fish to one of his contacts that he wanted Sushi! Siri can obviously be dictated “Star Trek Beam Me Up Scotty Mission Imposible James Bond Style!” You can take calls like Tom Cruise, or Charlie’s Angles if you were sad enough to do so! There will be some of us that post it on twitter! Symbology and simple doodling is an ancient way of comunication you will just be able to tap to one of your contacts or just tap out an image! With the children doodling and growing up today and their curriculum which includes IT and coding its not hard to imagine it happening even now! Along with this you can even send a near real time stream of your heartbeat! Again absolutely amazing and very personel! I declear Apple knew just how personel a watch can be! Obviously it comes with many straps, many colours and virtually many faces! I could go on about the health benifits and motivational aspect but I won’t congratulations to innovation! Apple spot on! i=Mc2@EzMobiles Www.Facebook.com/EZMOBILES
