The New iPhone SE

Was casually introduced to the iPhone family tree on Monday and will be replacing Apple’s popular Rocky Baboa still swinging strong and flying off the shelf iPhone 5S which is now discontinued. Almost three years old the 5S has depreciated in value BUT still represents a massive chunk of Apple’s revenue (Over 30 Million 4 inch iPhone’s were sold just last year) The 4 inch iPhone SE is lovingly built and updated to fill the demand and shoes and it’s a perfect fit. Everything seems absolutely great about it has almost everything the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus share, with just a few differences, it’s smaller and there’s there’s no integrated 3DTouch.

How Does It Compare With The Rest Of The iPhone Range?

In hindsight the lack of 3DTouch explains the price tag. The revolutionary display of both the latter iPhone 6s and 6S Plus were both ingrained and hot-wired into the touch display on both premium devices and not the result of a software feature. Lacking this difference the iPhone SE is the reborn mini-me of iPhones. Maybe the second edition of a destined staple device? This doesn’t mean you won’t be able to take advantage of LivePhotos. Already integrated into iOS 9.3 which started rolling out on Monday. Apple still opted to manufacture a 16GB variation model which some people argue should already be extinct and tossed into the Abyss forever. However taking into consideration the iCloud account you’ll get along with the device for storage and various other ways of saving space, Dropbox and Google Drive to name a few, and as long as you don’t have the need to store your entire music collection on the phone itself you shouldn’t run into a wall of storage problems.

For those that want extra and the safety net of installing many apps the iPhone SE will be available with 64GB variant all in familiar Rose Gold, Gold, Space Grey and Silver at £429 and £359 for the 16GB iPhone SE. With all things internally similar to the iPhone 6s and equal in measure and build almost to the older 5S. The new SE is made specifically for people that want a smaller more classical sized iPhone with today’s specs expected from Apple. That’s down to the gigabyte, the A9 Processor, always on micro-co-processor and refined 12 MP identical f/2.2 aperture 29mm lens.
