You may have have just brought the Samsung Galaxy S5 or got a new contract or kitted your staff out with the new Samsung Galaxy S5 at it’s launch however maybe some owners of the device out there will be only slightly miffed to see images of a new Samsung smartphone the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime which have been leaked and released with a collossle cloud of rumours flying about left right and centre in the last few weeks. Here is everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime. It’s not made completely from plastic and Samsung have responded to the market with this phone with what looks like to be true aluminium body and edging. Which again this time round looks to be all waterproof!
The SGS5 lost points alone with EZ-MOBILES reviews just for not having that metal premium build quality. The back of the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime in these pictures look to be made from them same soft dimpled bevelled surface as the S5 and with the same 16 MP camera. The camera is slightly more tucked away on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime which is a design improvement just edging out from the back of the phone instead of just sticking and hanging out! Also the major difference with design is the the positioning of the speakers being shifted to the back of the phone on the bottom.
The difference in the specs?
The screen is the main difference when we talk about specs here. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime is said to shine with a QHD 5.2-inch screen packing a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, a notch up from the original S5’s 5.1-inch 1920 x 1280 display which looks to be a counterstrike to LG’s announcement that the new LG G3 smartphone will dazzle a QHD Screen. Besides that the S5 Prime sould have the new Snapdragon 805 processor backed up with 3GB’s of RAM which is a whole gigabyte extra on the S5 Prime over the original Samsung Galaxy S5 which has 2.GB RAM. Below and above are some of the first images of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime from Phonearena.
We’re taking it all with a pinch of salt but we don’t expect to see the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime in the UK too soon, either the end July or August the phone is said to be available and it will probably retail at around the same price as the S5. Our springer final thoughts on the matter are sympathetic towards buyers that forked out hundreds for a pay as you go SGS5 handsets but we can see how Samsung have responded to customer feedback with the changes they have have made for the Prime positively or it could just be that the Samsung Galaxy S5, premium and coveted though it may be and still is was only the tip of the iceberg released to pave the way for the S5 Prime. We will keep you up to date on the Prime and as usual let us know what you think!
