Last week Vodafone announced that they were putting a halt on mid market contacts hikes in price. This week Vodafone announced that in addition to their Sky Sports and Spotify entertainment packs that from July onwards they will also incorporate Netflix for streaming movies and TV, adding a 6 month subscription to Netflix in the mix. The offer will only be available on Vodafone’s Red 4G plans. All this means is that you will need to pick a plan of at least £26 a month which will net you 3GB of 4G data, which barely seems enough when you consider a HD movie will consume 3GB of data in an hour on Netflix. Baring this in mind for the first three months you will get free unlimited data after that you should make sure that you only stream when your on your home, work, or public WIFI connection to avoid consuming your data allowance in one sitting! Nevertheless an excellent offer Netflix is widely considered the better of all streaming services available and as long as you remember to only stream on a WIFI connection you’ll have your favourite TV shows and movies to watch at home or with you whenever at your leisure.
