I think Apple set up the ground work for the AppleWatch with an excellent presentation last year when they finally revealed it to be in the works at Cupertino a week or so after IFA 2014. I remember sitting through the live stream pretty much in awe of Apple continuity and innovation so much so I nearly made the decision to upgrade with Apple when the time came. Evernote helped change my mind!

For those of us with an iPad2 or an earlier rendition of the iOS before iOS 8 was teased and released it seemed promising with its enhances but the bungled debute and the battery draining reality of updating with an earlier model self evidently puts stress upon the proformence of the neo-retro hardware and I need to repeat lowers battery life and should probably be avoided (don’t update your iPad2 at least)

This should be something that Apple could talk about and consider updating. The Apple Shop was a new route to market and is heavily persuasive in keeping customers inside the Apple ecosystem along with iOS updates which keep App Store developers following in tow. If you jump ship to android the process hasn’t always been made easy for Apple customers and only made easier recently by Apple under duress.

That said the customer care with Apple has always been amazing and second to none in store yet I feel older devices that can’t downgrade to a preferable iOS should have their own battery problems solved with an ‘Apple Friendly’ downloadable back-tracking update?

Back to reality I would have to say the Apple Watch really does look amazing and from everything we said and from our first initial impression we made last year Apple certainly met our predicted expectations but have they really pulled it off? Is the price too steep is the wearable Apple Watch exclusive and unique enough for you at its price, tech, continuity and craft?

Apple Editions

Apple seems to think so opting for a multitude of style grace and choice shyly nudging into Citizen and Rolex territory with the most extravagant gold watch selling at around $17,000 which I can only assume is aimed as a gift worthy heirloom for a loved one the rich and famous or nameless collectors- It would definitely get you noticed on the bus or train on the commute just about anywhere!

The Apple Watch is a convenient wearable for your wrist. Syncing to your iPhone 5 iPhone 5c, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus and only compatible with iOS 8.2 which is the only iOS to include the Apple Watch App. You can unleash your inner child and take calls like the man from uncle, mission impossible or James Bond from your wrist. Natrually you can listen to your whole music collection on the go! The Apple Watch comes with some new innovations revealed at the keynote last year mainly Watch2Watch comunication (you’ll be able to send a burst of taps to your friends with an AppleWatch) almost in real time as well as send simple pictorial doodle messages. The most personel and impressive feature in my opinion is the ability to send your heartbeat!

The Apple price range as it currently stands is separated into three collective segments detailed below, each available with a smaller 38mm face or minutely larger 42mm. In reverse order low to high in price-range

  • The Apple Watch Sport ($349) for the 38.mm & ($399) for the 42mm.
  • The Stainless Steel Apple Watch ($549) for the 38mm ($1049) for the 42mm.
  • The Apple Watch Edition for the playboy or milionairess can set you up to a staggering $17,000 for the watch and band in 18K Gold.

These prices are justified in regards to the cooling process Apple explained on Monday as cold forging which makes the stainless steel up to 80% stronger then the average aluminium steel on the market. Apple call this new coldly forged alloy ‘Aluminum’ it adds to the expanse an fashionable classical quality of the watch case and linked band.
