After the initial video teaser presentation voiced by Robert Downing Junior Phil Blair steps on stage for HTC presenting Utopia in progress. HTC have focused their marketing on the world as one, all people all faces theirs is a focus on the technological progress and connectivity of humanity, their design philosophy is touted as a self evident one philosophy in and of itself! Phil makes way and calls out a hand for HTC’s CEO Peter Chou he is greeted by the crowd in applause.

Peter gears up another teaser trailer before asking if everyone is ready! Positive cries hail from all round and tweets fly on twitter and the HTC ONE M9 is revealed in the final video fully unmasked before the lights come back on and the M9 is sitting in the palm of their CEO Peter Chou. He stands breifly eerily almost robotically for a moment whilst holding the M9 in sustained silence as the centre stage is illuminated by the flashing lights of photography.

Htc1m9flaunt The design of the HTC One M9 still has its recognisable unibody clean polished aluminium design and comes in 4 colours Gunmetal Grey, Silver, Pink and Gold. HTC have played it safe and didn’t want to compromise themselves by trying anything bizzar, from the surface at least the philosophy may as well be if it’s not broken don’t fix it!

Adding this to the mix the M9 still has its Boomsound with Dolby 5.1 surround. HTC promise that the elegant One M9 with its ‘Sense 7’ UI will adapt to you rather then you adapting to it. Spot a quick image that you want to flick and Sense7 will use its in-built customisable ‘Theme Feature’ to make it come to life in your own customised theme which you can then share on social media.

The new one comes with 32GB of on board memory and has SDcard space for up to 128GB running with 3GB of RAM. The M9 has chosen the octa-core 64 Bit Snapdragon 810 for its processor and its currently the most powerful processor available on the market. With a 20MP camera combined with the latest BSI technology and scratch resistant sapphire glass. The HTC One M9 has improved on it’s image capture, capturing clear images video and audio even in low light conditions. This is helped by its wide angle HTC Ultra Pixel technology

Htcgrip

This HTC One M9 wasn’t the only thing HTC brought to show and tell today! HTC have partnered with Under Armour to make the HTC Grip. The HTC Grip is a wrap around wrist band smart fitness tracker. Tracking your fitness and improvements from walking, running cycling and working out at the gym. The coolest thing about Grip is that you can set real-time fitness challenges with your friends to push yourself that bit further with a little competitive competition!

HTCViveHTC have also partnered with VALVe to manufacture ‘Vive’ their own smartphone VR goggles to rival Samsung and to keep pace with the rapid evolving VR technology. The Vive boasts a 90 hertz refresh rate (which shouldn’t make you feel sick) with 360 degree scale room tracking! Vive will  be at the game developer conference in San Fransico this week for hands on visual testing. Interestingly if you don’t know already ‘Valve’ made the cult PC game Half-life how cool will it be if they knock out a new VR Half-life where you get to play Gordon Freeman the scientific man himself? I think this is a very wise move from HTC! Top marks!
