Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Fit in the palm of each hand and are smuggled from the breast pocket’s of JK Shin the President & CEO of Samsung Electronics held them aloof and on display whilst addressing the world press and gatherers to the latest Samsung Unpacked event.

Broadcast in London and held from the Big NYC ‘Samsung Unpacked’ made a trio of announcements today, including Samsung Pay which presumably utilizes NFC technology for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (Which is now crafted in metal and glass) and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ which are both due to be released in the US and Canada on August the 21st…As of yet folks there’s been hardly a mere whisper in regards to any release of the Note 5 in the UK. Samsung have neither confirmed or denied a release for the UK and when pressed by Engadget responded with the following statement.

“The market availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will vary according to consumer needs and the specific market situation. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be introduced in the US and Asian markets in August and we will look at further opportunities to launch the Galaxy Note 5 in other markets.”

“With the launch of the original Galaxy Note series in 2011, we created a whole new smart device category that set a new industry standard, which all others have followed. For our European customers, Samsung’s portfolio will be centred on the Galaxy S6 edge+, so as to better cater to their needs.”

Note Never To Be Release In The UK?

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ however will be parading it’s presence and improved design and build in the UK on the 18th of August when it becomes available for pre-order

Both phones are designed and we’re touted today to support bigger screens with far more surface area ever used by Samsung before. However both device’s are actually smaller then their predecessor’s having now been trimmed down in weight and overall compact mass and size with a stronger yet lighter more durable build of metal and of course using the the same crafted Gorilla Glass 4.

This will be used as a premium accessory to go along with the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ -Note to everyone, Samsung will pinch your style if they like it! The keyboard cover has on-board sensors and doesn’t use bluetooth and the screen of the Note 5 and Edge+ will adjust size automatically when the cover is attached.

For us here in the UK as stated by Samsung there’s so far been no guarantee the Note 5 will make it to our cloudy shoreline, this is probably just to build up the anticipation and to see how the market in the US and Canada takes to using Samsung Pay (which was also announced and we’ll go into more detail about in a separate article) however the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be available on pre-order from the 18th of August with no word yet to the price upon release with the familiar accustomed colours of Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and White Pearl.
