Spliced solidly together, unexpectedly ominous Aluminium edge. Unibody it appears has left the line remaining only on the latter M8. If look’s could kill both phone’s would work well in self-defense classes. If I were a martial art’s teacher that would be some free consulting.

Beneath The Hood & Variation
The metallic corner’s and surrounding edging of the device are available in Gold and Silver. Beneath the melded alloy lid, the essential organs of the M9 have only slightly changed. Including the Octa-Core heart of the system, clocking eight core CPU’s with one set at 1.5Ghz + another @ 2.00GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage.

Both handset’s feature additional MicroSD card space for 128GB. Should you opt to pay for the data and fill the storage capacity with third party data slate. The M9 doesn’t change it’s 1080p display. Let down last year with the camera, the new M9 seemingly dives into Sony territory opting for a 20MP Camera. Gone are the low end ultra-pixels of latter years too. Which can only be a good thing once HTC tweak it right!

With it’s eight cores and 3GB RAM in support the 1080 x 1920 display has a high pixel density of 441 ppi (pixel per inch), improving and maintaining a high standard despite not being QHD. With a screen and Talk Time of 21 hour on a 4G signal, the battery should be reliable, quick charging 60% in thirty minutes.

Metaphorically speaking peek back the screen with HTC’S Sense 7 Android skin. Which provides BlinkFeed and overlays Lollipop v5.1 partnered with an inbuilt easy custom theme design, that works with your favorite pictures. Double tap screen wake up to wake up, and custom screen gesture control enable quick root’s and shortcut’s to your favorite apps. There’s a Hibernation sleep mode allowing you to set the phone to power down and a certain time. Without forgetting of course the by now infamous HTC BoomSound speakers, this would be my second choice of phone, the other being the Sony Xperia Premium.
